TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF CLOSED CELL PRODUCTS
Unique closed cell structure of the installation provides stable & very low Thermal conductivity. Smooth skin of the material provides higher water vapor diffusion resistance. Increases longevity of thermal performance of Insulation. Uniform bonding of cells provide excellent compression resistance & consistent Thermal efficiency throughout the body of Insulation.
RESISTANCE TO WATER VAPOUR DIFFUSION
High diffusion resistance factor that minimizes water vapor penetration, giving excellent long term performance. The value of insulation can be more than 10,000 which acts like a “ Built-In” vapor barrier and gives long term Insulation efficiency against Condensation. A separate vapor barrier is not required on K-FLEX products.
FIRE BEHAVIOUR
Produce adhering to highest safety norms to Fire i.e FM Global Approved K-FLEX ST does not generate Flaming Droplets. Has very low flames spread and fine propagation index. It is certified as Class “O” as per BS 476 Part 6 & Part7. It is self extinguishing material & also UL94 approved.

ENVIRONMENT FRIENDLY
K-FLEX Insulations are fibre free, dust free, CFC/HCFC free and aldehyde free material. Being close cell and made from elastomeric rubber, where organic matter is absent, it does not have presence of or does not support the growth of bacteria , mould and fungi. The products do not contain or emit VOC/SVOC to further protect indoor air quality.
